Samart School would benefit greatly from more donors who contribute on a regular basis. If you would like to become a sustaining sponsor (either large or small) or you know of someone else or an organization or business that might like to provide support, we would LOVE to hear from you. School records are available upon request.
VOLUNTEER or VISIT
There are often projects underway at one of the school sites. If you have an interest in helping, send us an email asking if there’s an opportunity to volunteer. Also, in his efforts to obtain funding for the school Mr. Samart’s wife’s family has built a simple hotel next to the second classroom site. Part of what you would pay for a night’s stay at Angelsong goes to support the school.

Some examples of our monthly recurring expenses:
$60 — Electricity, which is expensive in Cambodia.
$150 — Teacher and student consumable materials
STAFF — Currently the school operates with only non-professional teachers. The goal would be to have staff more in line with the following:
General Manager $300
Trained/Professional Teacher $250 3 needed
Teacher in Training $150 2 needed
Teacher Transportation $50 per teacher
(Though the Riel is the official currency of Cambodia, business is more commonly done in U.S. Dollars.)
